Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of early childhood music education?
Now more than ever, there are countless enrichment opportunities for you and your children, with many classes and sports available to join. So, why choose a music class? Research has shown that music education offers numerous benefits for children, including language development, increased neural activity, and even increased IQ. Beyond these advantages, early childhood music education fosters a lifelong relationship with music. It helps children grow into adults who can sing confidently and in tune, dance and move to the rhythm, and appreciate quality music. Music enriches our world, and I invite you and your child to experience its beauty in a joyful atmosphere.

Can I join a music class after the session has started?
Yes! As long as there are still spots available, you can join part-way through the session, and your tuition will be pro-rated.

I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old, can I sign them up for the same class?
Yes! There is a mixed-ages class that will blend elements geared towards infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
What is class etiquette?
First and foremost, my desire is that every grown-up and child feel welcome and safe to learn and explore. Parents should know that children will respond to class in a variety of ways: some children may jump into activities immediately while others will reserve their singing for at home where they are most comfortable- all of this is great! Parents are encouraged to focus on their child(ren) for the duration of the class and reserve socialization to before and after class. Children are welcome to wander, as long as they do not disrupt another child's learning. If a parent needs to redirect a child, they are encouraged to do so with minimal talking, so we can keep the flow of the music throughout the class. An introductory email will be sent to registered families with more information.
